ipod video help?

Question: ok.....my ipod has not been working really well lately. like everytime i try to change songs it takes about 2 minutes for it to recognize the command. and when i plug it into my computer it says that the ipod is corrupt.....when i try and restore it it says what does this mean? and what should i do? i got the ipod in december of 06...and i am not sure if i had to fill out a paper for the warrenty or not....can some1 please help

Answer: I would say that you need a new one and would take it to the local apple store in your area, and see if they can fix it. If not you can get them pretty cheap on ebay.
